US Open Orlando March 2004
The Jewels, Sparkles and Dazzles travelled to Orlando, Florida on 4th March to compete in The US Open in Orange County Convention Centre 5th - 7th March. The competition was unbelieveable with many top teams from all over the US, We were blown away by the standard of some of the teams especially Top Gun, American Allstars, and University Cheer Force (dazzles new best buddies). Not only did we have a once in a lifetime learning experience we also made many new friends and our squad bonded like never before. We spent 3 days competing and we also visited Universal studios, Islands of Adventure and The Magic Kingdom.
We were over the moon with the results and returned home with a unexpected 2nd peewee pom, 2nd junior pom, 5th Junior hip hop and also 3rd place for youth C cheer which was very close to 2nd against Orange Wildcats.
